You can nominate four fandoms and five characters or relationships from each.

Please use the following format when nominating relationships: "Relationship: Yoko Tsuno/Khany" for romantic relationships and "Relationship: Hannibal Barca & Scipio Africanus" for platonic relationships. These example relationships are already in the tagset, for ease of reference.

Fandoms are considered small enough for this exchange if they have less than 500 fics on Ao3 that are completed, in English and over one thousand (1k+) words. All characters and relationships in a small fandom are eligible in that fandom for this exchange.

I have a question about fandom classifications. I would like to nominate 18th Century CE RPF. Under this category, we have, with the requirements imposed, 528 fics. Clearly that is too many. However, once one removes works tagged also under Hamilton (Miranda) musical, which are presumably primarily about the musical depictions of 18th century characters, and not strictly historical rpf per se, we are left with 272 only.

I would like to nominate characters/relationships in this century who do not appear in the musical, are not from American history, and if they appear on AO3 at all, it is tagged with <10 works. Would this be acceptable? I would prefer not to nominate as 18th Century [Country] RPF as the people I am interested in lived across borders, and I think it would get cumbersome.

I have a question about fandoms just on the verge of tipping over 500 stories. When I ran a filter on the fandom "Almost Human", it showed the number of complete stories in English over a thousand words is 497. So I nominated it.

If four more stories roll in in the meantime, does the fandom get ejected? And if so, by what deadline? For instance, anytime up to signups?

If the fandom has 500 stories or under when I check it, it gets in, even if it gets bigger later -- it'd be unfair to reject already approved nominations.
