• In "Legacy of Kain", who are "The lunatic in Steinchencröe" and "The original vampires before the curse"?


• Is "Serenity (2005)" a different fandom from "Firefly"?


• "Supergirl (Comics 2011-Present)" does not exist. As far as I can tell "Supergirl (2011-2015)" and "Supergirl (2016-)" are different series. Did you want a specific one?

If you sort Guardian according to in-English, over-1000, and complete, you get ~900 or so, which looks like it's over the limit, but if you scroll down through the pages, maaaaybe a third of the fics marked in-English actually are- most are actually in Chinese, just mislabeled. (checked 2 pages at random the other day, got 3 out of 20 and 6 out of 20)

To add to anon's case: if you sort the fics by title, it becomes even more obvious that a lot of Chinese fics are mislabeled as English.

Here's page 20 (ie 400 works) of the Guardian (TV) eligible 'English' fics sorted by title. It's pretty much all mislabeled Chinese fics on this page, which proves that there are less than 400 actual eligible English fics in this fandom.

I checked, there are only about 380 fics in English on Ao3. Thank you for pointing this out.

"Supergirl (2016-)" is a continuation of "Supergirl (2011-2015)" starring the same incarnation of Kara Zor-El. "Supergirl (2016-)" first trade even deals with her fighting Cyborg Superman, actually her father Zor-El, where a lot of their interaction and established relationship is in the "Supergirl (2011-2015)" run. Additionally, the 2016 run was timed to coincide with the DC Rebirth event where almost the entire company had their title numbering reset to number one.

Supergirl (Comics) as a whole is still under the limit despite show works being mistagged.

I hope that you will reconsider and allow "Supergirl (Comics 2011-Present)" into the tagset considering it is one continuity, starring the same version of Kara Zor-El, with elements from the first being relevant to the second, and that even at it's broadest (including the first version of Kara Zor-El, Matrix, Linda Danvers, the second Kara Zor-El, and the third Kara Zor-El) Supergirl (Comics) is still under 500 works.

Serenity was the movie based off of the show Firefly but has few than 500 finished fics concerning just the movie and its aftermath.

No, Serenity is definitely the same fandom as Firefly. It's a direct sequel made to tie up the loose ends of the show. It's the same characters, actors, setting, everything.

The same could be said for Captain Marvel. It is a direct tie in to the MCU and Avengers. All the movies are interlocking and tell the same over arching story.

As can Serenity which tells the beginning and end of the story and does not need the show to make sense. There are people who have watched the movie and not the show.

Captain Marvel has an almost entire new set of characters, only two of them are recurring in many other MCU movies. Spin Off could be a somewhat correct definition of the canon.

Serenity is about the same main characters from the show, and Spin Off can't be a descriptor of it. Series epilogue, is more correct. So it doesn't sound to me like it belongs to NOFM.

Serenity is definitely the same fandom as Firefly. I've never seen anyone treat it as separate.

Thank you for this comment, as well as to the anonymous commenters above. In light of the evidence, I'll consider Serenity (2005) the same fandom as Firefly and thus ineligible.
